Following an intensive 18-month process, driven by the sensitivity and complexity of the transaction, we successfully negotiated with a state-owned bank holding debt exposure in excess of €80 million.
Vale do Lobo Resort, Algarve, Portugal
The owner of Vale do Lobo engaged our firm with a mandate to secure a purchaser for Vale do Lobo – one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious residential resorts—at an asking price of €240 million.
Los Monteros 5* Hotel, Marbella, Spain
Negotiations commenced early 2019 to acquire the Los Monteros Hotel and an agreement reached at the end of 2019 with investors, operator and brand and the sellers. Early 2020 covid-19 pandemic changed the situation significantly. For the owners, the situation became an administrative process as their mortgage debt was sold by Santander bank to an investor fund, Apollo, who wanted to execute.
